Focus Groups

Focus groups are when you get paid to share your opinions. They can pay $50-$250 per hour. You will have to answer questions first to make sure you are a good fit.

My Three Favorites:

1. UserInterviews.com
One of the most reputable focus group platforms. You’ll receive email alerts when studies match your profile. I get paid $60+ an hour. Once they are sure you can do a good job, they will send you screeners that fit you well before everyone else.

2. Respondent.io
This is like User Interviews, but I don’t fit the demographics they are looking for as often. You’ll have more options if you connect your LinkedIn.

3. dscout
This is an app where you record short videos or take photos. It pays really well and their screening process is fast. You do have to record short video clips as part of their screeners at times. What Makes Focus Groups Worth It

• High pay for time spent — many studies are short but pay well

• No degree required — just honesty and attention to detail

• Work from wherever — smartphone or laptop

• Set up email alerts so you’re among the first to apply — studies fill up fast

• AI studies are easier to get into and build trust

• Complete every single profile detail to get better opportunities

• You might need to use zoom or test flight - ChatGPT can help if you don’t know how

• Turn off your pop up blocker for the sites - sometimes they have an extra screener that comes up

• When I have time to check them a few times a day, I can book at least 4-5 studies a week
